I've lived here all my life.

Go back and review this thread... All you need is one in-state school to be able to charge conference network in-state subscriber fees, no matter how prestigious or successful the program (the words of the person to whom I originally responded).

Then you must be a dumbass.

Nobody in Houston or San Antonio cares about Texas Tech.

Nobody in DFW, Austin, or San Antonio cares about Cougar High.

I'm not basing this on opinion. I'm basing this on TV ratings.

So you think most New Jersey TV viewers watch Rutgers football? Yet the Big 10 Network gets in-state fees in New Jersey.

Come on, dude...

They certainly did back when Ray Rice played for them.

Is this one of those deals where it's on ESPN3 outside of the state of Oklahoma but PPV within or is it completely PPV?

If it's the LATTER, then it's absolute bullshite that AFN is paying for it using our tax dollars just because they have to show every game involving USMA, USNA or USAFA.

Penn State dominates college football viewership in New Jersey, and likely Maryland.

Yet without Rutgers and Maryland, that meant very little to the Big 10 Network (hint, hint),

What really doesn't sit well with me is that you should never have to PPV a service academy game. That is horrible. They should be televised nationally every week.
