I'm guessing he's not a top target. While I agree with Arkansas here -- the kid sounds like a bitch -- I bet if the kid was a 5*, they'd find a way to overlook his commitment on the off-chance they could flip him.

Judging by how every kid we recruit that has a friend committed to A&M or knows one of the A&M commits or team members gets jawboned to death about staying in Texas and representing the state of Texas in the SEC, I'd say your kids are coached to do that.

After looking at Arkansas's commits it appears they only have 1 with an A&M offer. I am not sure there is much crossover between A&M and Arkansas offers.

The fact that this kid thinks that arky is in the wrong here instead of him for even asking them is whats wrong with these recruits.
Why cant he get a ticket from the aggies? that would be the bigger issue to me.
Those pesky rules get in the way. Technically, this is an Arkansas home game.
As far as the text... I have no issue with the intention of the text to the kid, but it could have been stated in a better way.

Possible but not likely. I can hate Bert for a lot of things, but honestly his decisions to not go after "certain" recruits is actually commendable, though it will probably cost him wins/his job.
Wouldn't be surprised to find out whoever this recruit is no longer has an offer from the Hogs after blasting that on social media.
