So, your glimmer of hope is a damned tie game?

Your only wins ever against us are in the 1st year of a new head coach

It's the same people who say that all OM fans think we are winning ten games. They're just dumb.

The fact that even a tiny portion of your fan base thinks this, is hilarious.

Not sure how you can pencil this in as a win.

You're coming off a 4 game skid against teams that finished last year with a combined 46-7 record. Auburn has Florida Atlantic the week before. At best for Arkansas, it's a toss-up.

No, we are simply a better football team

Eh, in probably our worst season in decades, we still won @ Auburn.

I think we will improve more than Auburn over last year, plus the game is in Fayetteville. That said, I think Gus was a good hire for Auburn and he will have them competitive soon.

ETA: You took more of an issue with that pick than my W prediction over A&M?

I will refrain from making any predictions until HawgAlude weighs in on this very important subject.

I will summarize for you.

"Ramble ramble ramble, babby petrino greatest evar! Ramble ramble ramble bert bamluhmioua is the worstest coarch ever. Ramble Ramble Arkansas 0-9000. Ramble ramble hire our lord and savior Guwsy"

It's one thing to think it- but we both know it's another thing completely to live thru it this Fall. Once September gets here and the juices get flowing, there's not a Razorback in the state that will be happy with a 4-8 or 5-7 season- especially if you start 3-0. Which will be tough starting off with ULL

You do realize that was Auburn's worst team in 60+ years, right? It's not like your team went above their heads and beat a decent team.

Arkansas also lost 95% of their passing offense, 85% of their rushing offense, and 63% of their receiving offense. No concern though?

Auburn is 5-4 in Fayetteville, so I'm not sure what that has to do with anything.

I don't give a shite about A&M and the trolling that goes back and forth between the two fanbases.

we survived the most disappointing season ever last year- any modicum of improvement and hope for the future should be sufficient this season i think.

Agreed. Only modification I would make is take out Rutgers, MSU, and Auburn...add in LSU and Ole Miss and say we win three of the five. Same final record though. We'll win out bowl too, a 6-6 record will get us a crap bowl against an overmatched team from a bad conference. We may be 6-6 but against a horrific schedule, we will be more prepared than a 9-3 SunBelt school or whatever.

I will take 7-6 and be VERY happy with it this year, especially if the defense makes the strides I hope it does. Our offense is going to be boring and probably not that effective, especially against teams with a solid front seven.
This is the very definition of a rebuilding year everywhere but defensive line.

That is pretty good. Arkansas might win 4 or 5 ballgames this season and that is being generous. Bielema is in way over his head.

Name me another first year coach in the SEC that would do better this year with this team than Bielema will.

I say they start out 4-0, lose the next 4, beat AU then lose the next 3 to go 5-7 (1-7). They may split between OM and MSU but we'll have to see how both of us look early on in the year. Right now we both look to better than Arky

:kige:

One caveat: If Arkansas can beat UL-Lafayette, then they'll go bowling in Shreveport at 6-6.

But I don't think the Hogs will beat U La La.
