That's nice, but we did our $100 million stadium expansion back in 2000, which in today's dollars is about eleventy-threve billion.

Neither our nor OM's numbers have anything to do with stadium expansion.

Arkansas earns more revenue than Ole Miss and MSU combined says WSJ and Forbes.

However, I'm happy MSU can do what they can with the smallest budget in the SEC. It shows good leadership and planning.

Not that $108 Million isn't impressive for Arkansas, but...

The University of Alabama just got done with reaching a goal of $612 Million Capital Campaign for academics/endowment called the "Our Students, Our Future" Campaign.

Bama's academic campaign

Alabama also just got finished with a $200 Million Athletics campaign recently and it's still ongoing even though they surpassed their goal of $200 Million.

$200 Million for Alabama Athletic Facilities

Crimson Tide Foundation

I'm sure LSU, UF, UGA and others have similar campaigns for academics and athletics.

I think both are nice.

You don't think other schools have alumni that are heads of large corporations?

I mean, Tyson and Wal-Mart are nice, but every school can list donors like that.
FedEx - Ole Miss.
The head of Apple is an Auburn Grad.
Too many companies to name for Alabama.
I'm sure UGA, LSU, UF and others have the same.

It just seems Arkansas is more branded to those companies for some reason.

Because those companies gives the big bucks to us. Nike and Oregon for example. Fedex gives more to memphis don't they?

Lol. You don't know about growth until your endowment is tied directly to oil leases in west Texas. The fact of the matter is your school is playing catch up because it has been near the bottom for so many years. A&M could remain perfectly stagnant for a couple decades before Arkansas could catch up.

Thanks and Gig Em.

Arkansas isn't a top 20 job. Period.

Alabama
Auburn
LSU
Florida
Tennessee
Georgia
Texas A&M
tu
OU
Nebraska
Ohio State
Michigan
USC
Oregon
Notre Dame
Florida State
Miami
Clemson
Georgia Tech
Virginia Tech

I would all rank higher. 21st best job in the country sounds about right.

Makes sense. As the nation gets poorer they tend to shop at Wal Mart more often

I know this will disappoint you, Aggie, but most threads around here are not about penis.

Please stop trying to make them all be about penis.

May I suggest PenisVille

Don't count on that to last long with feed prices skyrocketing. Same with beef, pork, and catfish.

Our catfish feed is over 500 dollars a ton. And we feed out around 200 tons a day 6 days a week. That's 600,000 dollars a week just on feed.

Gov't announced today they will be buying a lot of catfish, beef, and chicken (i'm guessing for public school lunches) to help bail out the struggling industries and get the prices up to where we can afford the feed prices.

Stadium is being financed through bonds tied to future premium seating not with our private donations.
