Arkansas couldn't afford to play hardball with Texas like Alabama did. Only 3 or 4 schools do have enough $$$ to play a game of chicken with Texas.

Don't try to make this kid something that he's not. Like he's your future...All-American, Heisman...blah blah blah. He completed a pass to a receiver with no db within 10 yards against an Arkansas team that's winless in the SEC.

He's the only strength coach, college or pro that is a household name.

I'll bet he's the only strength coach who has had a 60 Minutes piece done on him, is a fixture on the videoboards on gameday, and is talked about on Howard Stern.

ESPN just made Malzahn look reeeaaally bad on national tv.

Someone on the ESPN staff was smart enough to remember what Malzahn said at Media Days about being against players faking injuries...and then they showed an AU player faking an injury.

It really doesn't matter what any of us on the Rant with all of our biases think...

To the casual fan and to a National TV Audience, ESPN made Malzahn look like a liar and a hypocrite.

It was all there.

Again...doesn't matter what any of us say here...they showed Malzahn saying A and doing B.

His reputation just took a very bad hit on a national level.

If this was Saban, AU and LSU fans would be all over it.
