The only thing Arkansas will beat is themselves. That teams is freaking terrible. GTFO.

To OP, you got out...destroyed, I mean gained by Bama. Are you concerned?

A guy by the name of Mr. Al Davis put it best : "Just win, baby!" Or, an unnamed author said this: "stats are for losers".

Well when half your drives start in Arkansas territory including 3 starting inside the Arkansas 20, 2 inside the 10, and you have a Kickoff Return for a TD, you tend to get outgained ny the opponent.

Yes the offense wasn’t as good as I want it to be against Arkansas but they didn’t have to be.

Oh look everybody!! A mad aggy who tries to console himself on how bad his team is by trolling other teams... how classic!!!

The truth is, everyone who plays bama will most likely get destroyed this year. That includes LSU. The team that will prob give them the most trouble is the same one that always does: Auburn. Because that is a true blue, dyed in the wool, rivalry game. Kids and coaches will risk killing careers to have a chance to win that game.

So, anyway, just take the loss, aggies and understand that everyone is gonna get handled in turn by Bama because they poached a few of Louisiana’s best and got a HECK of a QB from Hawaii. Think how we feel... several of Bamas starters are from La, or were “FIRMLY 100% committed” up till just about signing day.

Once again we shut things down after we got up big against an inferior opponent, this time they had to wake back up in the 4th quarter to finish it off. I hate that they're doing this and no idea why they just cant bury a vastly inferior opponent. Got up 24-0 midway through 2nd quarter then decided to fall asleep till it was 24-21.

It's just been a different demeanor when we play Miami/Auburn vs. SELA/LT. Granted we almost did the same to Miami when we got up 27-3.

Getting away from whats working is not the right thing to do before the 4th quarter. You put a team away, then coast late if you need to. You dont shut things down in the 2nd quarter or early 2nd half and hope for the best because you're up 3-4 TDs.

No. Was Alabama worried when LSU outgained them last November?

Vegas had LSU at a 19 point favorite. We won by 17 sleep walking.

Im a little more worried about 2 starters leaving the team.

But if I were you, I’d be figuring out how to stop Benny snell rather than worrying about Auburn or LSU.

Trying to stop the run is the least of A&M’s concerns.

It was the least of MSU’s too.

How did that turn out again?

This arguement is almost as embarrassingly bad for both sides as our coming game will be.

Ps. You sure you went to Vandy?

I'm quite certain. The fact that I'm trolling Arkansas and apparently hurting your feelings has no relevance.

P.S. I also know how to spell 'argument.'

And bimbo had a another moral victory by scoring on Bama but still getting his arse handed to him. However, I can see how you would want to keep up the heat on us losers.

Arkansas outgained Auburn

Mostly due to a good return game and atrocious special teams by Arkansas. Auburn had scoring drives of:
TD - 27 yards (48 yard punt return)
FG - 1 yard (fumble recovered at Ark 2)
TD - 10 yards (blocked punt to Ark 9)
TD - 0 yards (Kickoff return for TD)
TD - 72 yards (regular drive)
FG - -10 yards (36 yard punt return)

Each of Auburn's scores were the result of the offense gaining an average of 16.7 yards per "drive" - or 20 yards per drive if you don't count the kickoff return.

The only thing Auburn should be concerned about is that they had drive stalls and when faced with normal starting spots, they had trouble moving the ball. The only had one other drive gain at least 20 yards, which stalled out on a 4th & 1 at the Arkansas 8.

La Tech outgained LSU

Way more concerning, considering that LSU's main claim is a stout defense. Giving up 400 yards in the air to, being very generous, only the 3rd or 4th best passing offense they'll face this year should indicate some problems that need serious addressing. (Especially considering that two teams still on their schedule, Ole Miss and Alabama, gain more yards per game through the air despite throwing it between 9 and 11 times fewer than La Tech per game).

LSU has historically always played lazy against lesser opponents. It's always frustrating to watch, but worrisome? Eh, sometimes. But not today.

ETA: Don't act like La Tech is some slouch; they're one of the most experienced teams in CFB right now. They'd beat the brakes off of Arkansas (though that's not saying much). But it's important to consider that they did schedule a bye-week just for LSU. This was their superbowl. It was 'just' La Tech to LSU..

Holtz didnt schedule the bye for LSU, he certainly wishes it were later in the year. If you want to say LSU always plays down, fine. But also note Tech is 1/6 out of the bye week. They always underperform out of it for some reason, and the lone win is a 17-15 win at UTEP.

I'm saying they're pretty decent and know how to win their final game of the season, unlike UGA.
If I recall UGA was at least in the final game of the season while LSU fans were on the couch watching re runs of swamp people
