I would be very interested to know which group runs the Arkansas AD. From all accounts Jim Lindsey was the man behind Coach Broyles but I’m not sure if things changed under Jeff Long. They were well enough funded that they were able to tell the Stephens family to take a hike not too long ago.

Its just impossible for him to have skin in the game the same way as people with real ties to the state. In a small state like Arkansas, people don’t like it when people without these ties come in and run the show. You’d have to be very successful to pull that off. You have to ingratiate yourself with the natives and I don’t know that Long ever really did much in this regard.

New AD is certainly lined up. Not going to be a search for that. Suspect he also has the new Football coach waiting until the season ends.
