Is this good timing though iyo? Arkansas will have to move quick on an AD before the coaching carousel picks up speed

And yet another school looking for a coach this offseason. Gonna be a lot of competition out there for very few quality names.

I would have rather kept Long and get rid of Bert if that was an option but I'm not sure it was

I think it will be fine, an AD is likely going to be strongly "advised" on what their candidates for the new job should be, at least that is my opinion.

I think Arkansas is in a safe spot. By all accounts (which could be wrong ), Norvell would take the job in a heartbeat. He is a very good safety net for us.
