We will see how he does when he starts coaching here.

On another note, dude, seriously, this was a shitty troll attempt. At some point when you were writing this did you stop and think that everyone reading this was going to pity you? Because you should have.

You should be ashamed of yourself for making such a pitiful effort on this, the finest trolling board in the South.

I hate defending the piggies but in this case they are right. His overall record isn't material.

What is material is he inherited a program that was a dumpster fire and he improved their record every year he was there. To me, that trendline is what is important.

Will he do well at ark? Too early to know, but having a coach who isn't going to try to run pro style football without the talent to do it should be an improvement.

I’m somehow supposed to believe that a coach that takes SMU to 7-5 after 3 years is the next coming of Saban?
And yet we are to believe Moorhead is the next Urban Meyer because he was a good FCS coach?

Look, I'm not going to downplay Frost's achievements at UCF but if he caught lightening in a bottle, then good for him. If two years is enough to prove his the best coach in at least the G5 then congrats.

But I had to sit through that damned dumpster fire of a college football team June Jones left behind after we game him $2M a year to sit on his arse and not recruit.
Over half the kids on the SMU team in 2013 didn't have a single FBS offer besides SMU - not Notre Dame, not North Texas. It looked like a HS team taking the field from a size and athletic standpoint, and that's not an exaggeration. Two years later Chad Morris had more kids with P5 offers than June Jones' ENTIRE TIME AT SMU. You cannot overstate the crap Morris had to go through just to get us competitive.

The guy can flat coach. His biggest problem isn't his recruiting ability or his defensive schemes it's the fact that he's walking into the most vicious, competitive arms-race in possibly all of football. Frost is walking into a division he could compete with at UCF, as least with the team he's fielding this year.

Give the dude a chance. Besides, you don't want him we'll happily take him back.
