Orgeron is not going to tunnel any good players to a West opponent.

Kiffin is going to do damage at Arkansas.

Yes it will crumble after a few years just like Bobby...but while it's going he will wreck some title hopes for a few teams.

I guess you don’t remember about Arkansas history while being in the SEC, they had some really good teams and Kiffin would be an interesting hire. I could see him bringing excitement back in recruiting and back on the field again, I would be on board if I was a Hog fan.

Kiffin is what I want my sports to be - entertaining. Is Mizzou or Arkansas going to the playoffs in the next decade regardless of who they get? No, but I guarantee with Kiffin it’ll be a blast to follow for whomever gets him.

Sure your town will be ravaged by Joey, and your team likely buried in sanctions, but it’ll be a heck of a ride! Come on Mizzou! For the record I’m on the Hugh Freeze or Kiffin train.

And if it doesn't, he'll retire here and we'll likely build a statue in his honor

Kiffin sucks. He is a clown show. No doubt about this.

Is it appropriate to up vote this OP? I'm doing it.

Nah. He’s a hot head. We’ve had enough of those around here for a long time.

I remember 2008 when Arkansas was going to teach the Big 12 a lesson. Mizzou buried them by half.

You mean the team that just fired their coach? What about in 2003 when we did teach you a lesson.

More than that, he's a rollercoaster head coach. There's a reason he was fired from SC. He's a better OC than HC.

Ok, they still have had very competitive teams in the past a I think Kiffin could get them there again. I’m not saying SEC Champions but respectful seasons and good bowl games. They have done it before and can do it again.

I’d be interested in how someone like Kiffin views coaching at Missouri vs Arkansas.

Damn, we had the talent to score more points on Bama last year than any SEC team... Or to lose multiple SEC games by 7 points or less.

Our problem isn't talent, it was the roster of grad assistant coaches Morris brought with him from SMU.

This. So tired of this narrative.

We don't have talent to compete for a championship, but we have way more talent than was shown the last two years. Easily enough to make a bowl game in at least year 2, maybe year 1.

Despite what you hear from the loonies, most Arkansas fans don’t believe we can be Alabama level of consistent, but we believe we can be consistently relevant and in the discussion some years. With the right coach. Look no farther back than 2012, 11-2, #5 final AP ranking.

You should really start paying attention to college football if you’re going to post on message boards. I’m kinda embarrassed for you.

Mizzou and SCar both matched or bettered that a year later. That means they are more relevant according to your logic.

Huh? I don’t make stupid, subjective claims of who is more relevant. I’m just sick of the ‘can’t compete’ and ‘perpetual suck sauce’ narratives. Clueless and uninformed.
