The job he did with LSU recruiting and portal recruits was amazing. Can you imagine what this season would be without that effort?
He has established a great defensive culture and the offense is better than I expected.
Lane had many new parts to integrate into the program and to function cohesively as a team. At this point Lane is ahead of my expectations which were 8-4 or 9-3.

On Philip's TD reception, his speed took away all the cutoff angles. At first I thought the defenders had decent cutoff angles, but the angles evaporated quickly.

I am not sure how much that it matters, but on the Fox interview, "Pop" confirmed he had a 4.00 GPA. Intelligence to pick up things quickly could be an asset.
