I just got through watching a Marcus Dupree 30 for 30 ESPN segment. There's several similarities at play here.

I don’t think his issues were exaggerated by LSU fans. If anything, a decent chunk don’t know the extent of his situation and think he’s just a quitter.
Of course UGA fans downplayed them, that’s what fans do. Lsu fans did the same thing when it was rumored he was coming back.

I thought he just couldn’t handle “the Ogre”, playing for a dog shite program (thats dog walked UGA), and being on such an unsafe and hostile campus
