Correct.

Could they do it again today? Highly doubtful.

Based on what? That game wasn’t so long ago. LSU fans thinking they are better than Tennessee now just because UGA whupped that arse is strange.

For a season, I can agree. As a trend, pump the breaks puppy dawg.

Did not say we were better. Did say that they would not beat us by 27 points.

As a whole? Not saying SEC West doesn't have its "suck" moments but there's still a lot of subpar play in SEC East that's barely present in the West. Namely these two:

Mizzou
Vandy

Need to see the Dawgs beat Mississippi State before I answer this question!

Both those teams would take A&M and Auburn to the wire if not out right beat them. Missouri would bathe in the blood of Mike Leaches offense this season.

I think so.

It’s UGA and no one else. TN is fool’s gold that would be completely out of the playoff picture if it didn’t happen to start raining in Athens. They had nothing on offense and were gashed all day by Bennett. They should’ve lost 40-13 if not for turnovers and rain. They lose by multiple scores to Bama if Bama doesn’t have 100 penalties. It’s UGA and a bunch of good but not great teams.

Teams get better and worse as the season goes on lol. Not to mention film exposes a lot of teams. Don’t think there’s anything to suggest TN is the world beater everyone made them out to be. LSU is easily playing its best football right now and has more depth than TN. I think if LSU/Bama/TN/Ole Miss played a round Robin it’d be pretty even. I think UGA is a tier above everyone else this season.

West has more ranked teams than East.

The East does have two high ranked teams. Pull up another East team or two and let one or two west ranked teams drop from top 25 and your point will be valid.

Yea, I think that's fair this year. But i dont think USC, Mizzou, or Vandy will ever be good programs. And Kentucky probably just peaked. The west teams care about football and look to be competent moving forward.

The rest?

Tennessee beat Alabama and LSU. Please don't try to claim they're better teams than Tennessee.

I've seen the games too. But don't think Alabama couldn't have beaten both LSU and Tennessee on a neutral field. I saw the games too.

It happened this season. So, yes it would probably happen again. It happened at your place. In your stadium. The feared Death Valley.

And Bama beat UGA by 17 last year and then lost by 15 to them. The game isn’t played in a vacuum. I think Bama, LSU, and TN all play each other 10 times and the records are pretty even. UGA objectively seems to be better than everyone. TN seems like they are a good team but not great. It’s not crazy to say LSU is getting better each week. They have better depth than TN from recruiting. They just beat Bama by the same amount TN did. Plus as seasons go on, there is more and more film on TN’s offense. Guarantee UGA doesn’t wipe the floor with TN like they did if this game was played in early October.
