Are Vols fans always like this when their team reaches .500?

It's been so long since they had an over .500 season I don't really remember and we were in the Big 12 anyway so never really interacted with them.
They kinda remind me of Arky fans but actually less erudite.

Yeah, here's the thing.
Straight up.
I was born in Columbia, Missouri and grew up a diehard Mizzou fan. Still am. Didn't wind up going there for undergrad though, just some summer school.
Deliberately picked an undergrad that aside from being strong academically, was also not a sports oriented school and was not competitive in any major sports or a direct athletic competitor to Mizzou so that I could keep on cheering my Tigers and not feel alienated on that other school's campus.
At the time, Vanderbilt University fit all those criteria.
I'm a Vandy grad.
Who knew many years later they'd be an SEC rival who actually sorta tries to give a shite about football and such now and then. Oh well. I have rooted against them hard in every sports matchup they've had with Mizzou and always will. Liked the education I got at Vandy. Didn't go there for sports. Don't give a frick about their sports. Never did. Never will. It is what it is.
