And digging deeper into your delusional, false narrative, it's interesting that you attempt to pretend all of NASA's research and development was done in Huntsville while leaving out NASA's numerous other facilities, specifically the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Langley Research Facility, both of which predate Marshall and even the Redstone Arsenal.

Pure comedy

Huntsville was the clearing house and had to sign off on anything that was space related and going into space. Huntsville did the R and D and sent this information to other sites to build or continue to refine While those two facilities may have predated Redstone, NASA put Huntsville in charge of the Space program and getting man to the moon. You can continue to argue but you are wrong.

Again, you prove yourself unable (or unwilling) to face facts

You're absolutely right.

I am completely unable and unwilling to agree with the "facts" that you have completely fabricated.

You must have us confused for Miami fans. I knew a guy in college from Alabama that was both a Miami football fan and a Duke bball fan.

Blue blood is a weird category b/c even folks struggle to call UCLA one in spite of having over 10 national titles. Folks don't consider UCONN or even 'nova blue bloods. It's weird.

Yeah, because the entire US Space program is made up,
NASA has lied to us. You are the sole resource of all things U.S. Man Space Program and someone who can not even do basic research.

For God's sake and the good of the country, do not teach

Holy strawman argument.

The space program wasn't made up and NASA didn't lie to anyone.

However, you personally, have made multiple false statements in this thread all of which I have easily debunked.

The difference between the two of us is I can provide proof to back up any of my statements.

You, on the other hand, provide opinions and myths.

you got that idiot to hardlegg one city so bad he tried to make it look like Alabama, then Huntsville, then his family were the sole reason we brought a moonrock back to earf.

i am pretty sure TideFan in Fla is the one that vehemently disagrees with anyone that laughs at bama's retroclaimed titles. now you have him saying his paw paw was the reason for the space program. just watch....it will go from,

What your simple arse saw was an affinity by Tide fans for other blue-blood sports programs that were bad-mouthed for their historic successes by jealous, envious fan bases of other teams.
It's called r-e-s-p-e-c-t!

Educate me and post evidence that the Apollo Program was managed from Huntsville, as you stated.

I'm waiting.

You like Sidewalk need to really educate yourself before posting. NASA developed the U.S. Manned space program in Huntsville at Redstone. While there are other bases that predate Redstone, none of them could do it. Why do I know that, because they would have if they could.

NC were won using the criteria of the day, but the information is out there, anyone can find it, you should try. I do disagree with 41

I said my family worked on the Space Program, many people in Huntsville had family that worked on the Space Program

LINK .

The Saturn V was developed at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama and was one of three types of Saturn rockets NASA built. Two smaller rockets, the Saturn I (1) and IB (1b), were used to launch humans into Earth orbit. The Saturn V sent them beyond Earth orbit to the moon.

Like I said, Huntsville was the R and D, the Cape launched, and Houston did the least important job, kept the radio. If the cape had a problem they called Huntsville, if the radio failed or there was a problem on board the craft, they called Huntsville.

Developing the Saturn rocket family isn't the same thing as managing the Apollo Program.

2 of the Auburn fans closest to me I know:

One always cheered for Kentucky until Auburn got Pearl
The other cheered for Duke and was back on the bandwagon when I saw him the other day.
