You like Sidewalk need to really educate yourself before posting. NASA developed the U.S. Manned space program in Huntsville at Redstone. While there are other bases that predate Redstone, none of them could do it. Why do I know that, because they would have if they could.

Laughing at both of you
This from someone who hasn't been able to post a single shred of evidence to support his false claims.
Also notice how no one from Huntsville or any other Alabama fans are jumping to your aid, hint, it's because they know you're wrong.

The Saturn V was developed at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama and was one of three types of Saturn rockets NASA built. Two smaller rockets, the Saturn I (1) and IB (1b), were used to launch humans into Earth orbit. The Saturn V sent them beyond Earth orbit to the moon.
Developing the Saturn rocket family isn't the same thing as managing the Apollo Program.
It is when you are developing new technology. You really think they were going to send information like that around the country? The Russian has already stolen how to make nuclear weapons years earlier. You need to stop before digging your hole deeper.

It's also hilarious how you claim to know so much about the "US Man Space Program" yet don't even realize it'd be "manned" and not "man."
Just a typical low IQ Alabama fan.

Oh child, just because you have not read the links does not mean I have not shown you the evidence.

LOL, that is your evidence that proves me wrong....
But we will try again

Huntsville was the R and D for the Saturn and was the go to for any problems the Cape or Houston had

They'll be ok. Yankees and Warriors look strong and Tom Brady is coming back.

Child, trying reading links before posting

There's really no reason for me to sit here and argue with you anymore.
You cry about "research" yet have made multiple false claims that you haven't been able to prove.
How ironic!
You're the stereotypical, low IQ Alabama fan that gets "manned" confused with "man."

You've been owned throughout this thread and it seems like the only reason you're even arguing is because you don't want to throw in the towel. Give it a rest.

Wait.
You're stating the Apollo Program was managed from Huntsville too?
So there's two low IQ Alabama fans now?

Almost as big of a rivalry as Alabama fans vs The English Language.
Also, regarding the Huntsville argument. I have a customer that is from that area - will be there next week. Huntsville is HUGE with the space program, home to the biggest space museum in the US, and home to the Missile Defense Agency
Do some research, Sidewalk
Space and Rocket Museum

There really is nothing more you can argue, everything I have said is true and proven with my links to be true. Funny how the only links you used were from Wikipedia
By the way, you really should sue USM for your money back you sent for your "degree". It is obvious that you could have spent $2.00 in late fees at your local library for the same "education"

You did get me there, I should have proofread before posting, congrats, only time you have been correct though

Well now the goalposts are being moved.
I never stated Huntsville wasn't an integral part of the space program, I never claimed it wasn't home to the Missile Defense Agency, and I never claimed they didn't have a large space museum.
However, contrary to low IQ Alabama fan claims:
1. The Apollo Program wasn't managed from Huntsville.
2. Huntsville wasn't the sole home for research and development for the Apollo Program.
I'm waiting for someone to actually take one of my statements here and prove it wrong with facts.
So far, it's been lot of strawman arguments, goalpost moving, opinions, and false narratives.
But of course, I am dealing with two low IQ Alabama fans and an Aggie who claims to be an LSU insider.

You claim Huntsville managed the Apollo Program.
Your "proof" is a link that says the Saturn family of rockets were developed in Huntsville.
You apparently don't understand the differences between rocket development and actually managing the space program.

Amusing to me the whole "Alabama fans only cheer for Duke in basketball" from fans of schools who cheer for "Anyone playing Alabama... and I mean ANYONE."

...
I cannot find the person who made these actual claims. When was this?
Huntsville didn't "manage" the Apollo program, but one can definitely make the argument that they provided the muscle that put man on the moon.

You're an LSU fan, so surely you have a breadth of experience dealing with low IQ fans from your own fanbase.

Funny enough the only person I know like this is a Auburn football and UNC basketball fan. He didn’t attend either school. CSB

It's all throughout this thread, page 3 for instance:
quote:
Huntsville was the clearing house and had to sign off on anything that was space related and going into space. Huntsville did the R and D and sent this information to other sites to build or continue to refine While those two facilities may have predated Redstone, NASA put Huntsville in charge of the Space program and getting man to the moon. You can continue to argue but you are wrong.
I've asked for sources for this information and simply get goalposts being moved or links about the Saturn rockets being developed in Huntsville.

There's dumb folks in every fanbase.
Low IQ LSU fans are just as bad as any other low IQ fan.

Gibbs did crap at GT. This past year in the UGA/GT game he screwed up the opening kickoff return - one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen on a football field- leading to UGAs first TD on a very busy day. Rumor has it he quit after getting yelled at. All I know is that he didn’t play much if any the rest of the game. A total non factor. He entered the portal a few days later. . Sorry Bama. If he had any talent at all GT would have won more than 3 games last year and would have looked like they had a clue about what goes on during a football game. You got suckered.

I don't know what you guys are arguing over exactly, and I'm not going back to read it. But I have no idea what the frick you are talking about.
The rocket that put man on the moon was developed in Huntsville. That's why it's called the rocket city, that's why you can find a Saturn V rocket on the 65 Alabama/Tennessee rest center, etc.
It's not hard to google that information.
Alabama and its rocket put Apollo 11, first man on the moon

Well obviously.
There's a long jump from that to this though:
