He’s hired 3 coaches that have won national championships in different sports And two of them did it in their second year so you answer the question for yourself
Scott Woodward is hands-down, the best athletic director in the nation

It seems more like you’re insecure that LSU has the best in the business. Very insecure

I'm not a fan of BK's contract, but he's done very well on the field considering what he inherited. He needs to make the playoff this year though.
I'm "wait and see" on basketball. I think the emphasis on getting NIL for basketball might be a legit strategy to get money people to pony up for a replacement if McMahon keeps failing.
At the least, Woody is a massive step up from Alleva, Skip, and Dean.

Not really. Your's is the same old "what's your opinion about your ....." question that gets asked 150 times a month. You have to be more original and do stuff like Tuscaloosa. He can piss people off because he writes these things called paragraphs about other teams.

OP definitely has major insecurities about LSU

MOST LSU fans and supporters are fine with Scott Woodward. The only real black eye for Scott at LSU is his fumbling the MBB/Will Wade situation.

Every great athletic director has made a bad hire before
He is well liked by everyone that matters and overall he’s done a nice job.

What about the two sports that can generate a profit and thus actually matter, football and men’s basketball?

He hired a baseball, basketball, gymnastic coaches that have won national championships since being hired,
He hired a football coach who brought us back from Ed Os catastrophe and got a Heisman winner.
Yeah I’d say in his short stint he’s been an amazing AD

Brian Kelly hasn’t been a bad hire so far?
Jeremy foley is regarded as the best athletic director in SEC history and he hired Ron Zook. You’re fricking retarded if you think one bad hire defines an athletic director.
Also McMahon at the time was a great hire considering the NCAA witch hunt. Mid major coaches are Russian roulette anyway. Most are a miss and occasionally elite coaches come out of the pile.

His hands were tied there.
Wade fricked himself and we would have had gestapo sniffing around football out of spite.
Now I think he could have made a pretty solid PR campaign around getting Wade back last month.

Is captdalton wife (or family) happy with captdalton? Probably not since he averages about 10 posts a day since joining and neglects his other duties. That is the real reason he is asking this. BK must have fricked his wife.

Woodward is one of the best AD’s in the country and is easily the best AD LSU has ever had.
