Happier than after the Troy game. That night I wasnt sure we would win 2 more games. They seem to be playing better. Hopefully this continues and we have a 10 win season.

Troy sucked sure, but it’s been a different team since then. I’m shocked at where we are right now considering where we were. Im pretty sure Troy/Miss St dont want us now

Mid-coaching change, more lineman attrition than old people getting sick, first-full-year HC and OC, banged up star players on both sides of ball, second-year DC, painfully questionable AD, ceaseless yaw-yaw jokes...

Then beating 10-ranked Auburn, softening up Alabama for Moo State, really pulling those freshmen O-linemen to something truly more than serviceable, possible if not likely top-15 finish...

I think all things considered, we’re pretty fricking happy in year one.

I'm not being a dick but I really do believe MSU is just the better team this year.

I agree. But for the first year I'm pretty happy. Obviously they shouldn't have sleptwalked through the Troy game but it was a bit of a catalyst for the rest of the season. It's not like they were ever going to contend for the West anyway. If they finish 9-3 and 6-2 in conference then yeah i'll be pretty happy with O's first year.

The morale around the program feels a lot more positive than any of the last 5 years with Miles. Hopefully that's a bit of a springboard into next season where if things bounce right its not impossible that they may contend for the West.

Given our problems with depth on the lines of scrimmage, our new head coach and new offensive scheme, young talent coming around, and basically a non factor at qb, yeah I'm ok with how the season turned out so far. We should be 9-3 going to a nice bowl game. The loss against troy was not ok, but that seemed to be the turning point that woke this team up. I like our chances next year with brennan at qb and an actual deep threat passing the ball. Coach o has done a good job with this team and all it has gone through. So, not elated, but not pissed. We weren't a legitimate contender this year and nobody expected that honestly. Optimistic for the future under orgeron.

And O has already won more sec games in 1 season than he did his entire time at ole miss...which is understandable bc LSU is a much better program than ole miss and has alot more resources to be successful. Just had to throw that one in there lol.

I predicted we'd go 9-3, so not happy or disappointed.

I will say that I'm happy we lost to Troy instead of Florida or Auburn.
