Or even the DB Johnson. Such a terrible pick.
Wouldn’t be bad at all. I’d prefer DB though. Still a couple of really good ones there.
Agree. It’s both. If you’re going to always be the team who gives up picks in order to trade up, then you better hit on the guys you take. And we haven’t often enough.
I’ve used magnesium and melatonin. My take is that both do help with falling asleep when my mind is racing with a million things. But I don’t think the quality of sleep I get with those is nearly as good as a natural non-pharmaceutical sleep. To me, the best sleep I get is when I’ve had a busy day, but not overly stressful, and I exercise, particularly lifting heavy weights.

That really is incredible. Especially when in 95 at bats, you gotta figure there are going to be a few where the ump calls a third strike that’s out of the zone.
Can’t offer anything on the smoking angle but as for the drinking, I did notice a good bit more clarity and energy pretty early on. I suppose it also depends upon how much you were doing of each - are we talking a pack of cigs and a 6-pack per night? Or a whiskey and a cigarette in the evening?
I would add that for me, I started having really crazy dreams for about a month after I stopped drinking.
They still need a real post presence but they are a top 8 team. Pretty damn good. Incoming class is elite and who knows what the portal may bring? We got spoiled from a couple of years ago, but this is not the program to be complaining about.
Where the hell is the father in all of this? She has pictures of school mass murderers on the walls in her room and he isn’t concerned????
Well, I’d make 2 arguments in that regard:
1) The threshold isn’t (and shouldn’t be) that their grades felt threatened. It should be whether their free speech is threatened or not. I would say common sense tells you that if a professor just proclaimed himself to be a staunch democrat followed by “eff the president and the governor,” I’m not chomping at the bit to announce any Republican viewpoints in that class;
2) good luck getting students to come testify against a professor who’s teaching a class they are enrolled in. I mean, come on….who in their right mind is going to do that? The professor holds all the cards here.
Exactly. Given the diatribe this guy just went on, can you really say that a conservative Republican law student would feel comfortable having an honest dialogue in his class? I’d say those students now have their speech suppressed.

Ridiculous take. There are good kids and problem kids at just about any school. You could pick U-high, Dunham, Episcopal, any of the Catholic schools and there are going to be some good, well-raised, down to earth kids and some spoiled entitled brats.

I’m interested in this. Any particular brand of toe spacers you recommend? I see a lot out there and don’t know enough to decide whether they’re all pretty much the same or if some are more effective. Thanks!
Ahhh I see. So your magical formula is overall record, and then head to head if it’s a tie, right? Okay. So you concede that SMU is better than you, right? And Indiana.
I’m done here. Invent whatever rule you want to. The bottom line is we are at home and so are you. But we at least won our last game.
So you concede that Oklahoma is better than you, correct? Because they beat the ever living shite out of you. Just want to make sure we’re being consistent here.
Correct. Bama fans:

“We beat you head to head and that’s all that matters. So we were better than you.”

Also Bama fans: “yes you beat Vanderbilt and Oklahoma and they beat us….but…but that doesn’t mean you were better than them or that they were better than us.”
It’s an unpopular opinion but I think Napier has them on the right track. He inherited a shite show.

We picked up some really good DB’s so we should be able to compete well with them. But the parity issue is real. Everyone has caught up to Bama on the recruiting (cheating) which is why Saban hung it up.
