Back in the day (2001) UT made fun of us bc we were going to do rings regardless of if we won Sec championship

I remember what gene Stallings said one year when he was told Bama had just won the west " who cares about that?" 
I see where it might matter at ole miss but I'd be embarrassed if Bama highlighted division titles.

I believe they should do away with championship games. Winnng your division and conference really doesn't mean as much anymore.

I see no problem with players getting rings. Who cares? Banners you can make fun of us all day long and I won't argue. I hate the East one in our stadium.

They are a good start.
