To me it seems Bama's team did not respond very well to their coaches this year. There just was not the same emotion as last year. Then in the Auburn game it was back for just the first half. Will there be a lot of turn over on the coaching staff this year? Bama has the talent so I don't understand the youth on defense excuse. It seems the players just went thru the motions this year. Any thoughts on this?

Better question would be: Is Saban burned out on Alabama? The pressure and expectations seemed to have gotten to him. He's starting to show his age more than ever before.

My thoughts are that I wish you'd never start another thread.

Saban never stays much longer than 5 years anywhere. He is a program builder not a program maintainer. When the bar was set at 14-0 last year, it is next to impossible to ever top that again. Not to say that he cannot or will not but the odds are against it judging on his past. I don't think anyone who posts on these boards have any idea how much pressure these guys are under and especially at a place like Bama, Florida etc. I would give him 2-3 more years in Tuscaloosa.

No, but I go to a couple of their home games every year. I get tickets through some friends at work. I usually just sit back on the couch and vigorously pull for them to screw the pooch most of the time.

I now have Vol season tickets for the first time. With their drop off I was able to get some good seats. Looking forward to next years LSU game at. Neyland.

This thread theme has never been posted. Thanks for being a trend setter instead of a thread hack.

Are the LSU players sick of the hat's shitty time management. It just seems like they think Lester's hat is on too tight and they're just going through the motions.

I'd put the owness on the players. What Saban has been preaching all season long is exactly how things turned out. That and he had way too many holes to fill on defense and Mark Barron may the most overrated player in Bama history.

They should listen to him a little more next time. He knows this coaching stuff pretty good.

Great question. I say that they are. Saban is a DICKTATOR not a players coach. His stock is falling quickly and I enjoy the fans who say he is THE BEST.He is the one making the $$$$ so all the blame is his, not the players,assistant coaches or the elephants.He is Bears stepson and can do no wrong. Excuses are not needed, its not his fault. Thanks Nick.

owness = onus

that is a substitution that works. never thought of that connection before.

And I say the barn is going to be needing some excuses for several years after they lose all those seniors, negative recruiting is used against them, they're left in the wake of Bobby Lowder, and Cam Newton's crap. You better enjoy this year however far it goes.

I know that the candle TenTex burns for Saban has not burned out...the guy absolutely obsesses over every little thing in Saban's life.

All I'm sure of is that if you search TenTex 95% of the post you find are about Saban and Bama.

How old are you, really? Your team just got embarrased at home and you are trying to talk smack?
Keeping holding out for the NCAA to save you?
Oh yeah and tell us about the recruiting championship again.
