Are Bama fans full of shite with their Iron Bowl pessimism?

I can't tell if it's melting or a reverse jinx.

Reverse Psychology.

But it won't work. Auburn fans were one loss away from wanting Gus gone. He's still TBD.. but we know the coaching he is capable of. And not in a good way.

Neither, really. For my part, each injury we've gotten has made me cringe just a little bit more until finally I was like, "Ok, we're gonna lose a game eventually."

I've already made my peace with it.

Have you watched them play the last two weeks? Our hope is to win in a shootout.

They just realize beating any east opponent is no big deal, so they are humoring you.

You gave up 24 points at MSU and act like you are a Big 12 school. You guys are spoiled.

You didn't watch the game... Mississippi State controlled the game and ran the clock down on every play. State could have scored more, but their defense isn't great so they figured there best shot was to shorten the game. State had a 3:1 advantage in TOP.

I don't think anybody is melting. We're just being honest with ourselves.

Yes, they think there is a chance they lose, so use the Bear Bryant poor mouth stuff.

I'm not convinced. They have more talent than anyone by far.

It's a good matchup for Auburn. We are struggling at stopping the run and have issues on offensive line.

If Auburn was more of a pass oriented team it would be better for us.

Bama has lost a regular season game under Saban every year but 3. Hard to go undefeated. Just hoping if Saban decides to retire after the Iron Bowl that we can find a coach willing to come here. Hope we don’t get stuck with having to hire Larry Fedora, Dana Holgersen, or Mike MacIntyre but it might come to that.

If we're high on our team, we need to rock it on back to the Bama board.

If we're realistic about our team, we're making excuses, or are "poor mouthing" our team.

If we actually poor mouth our team, we need to STFU and stop whining.

We can't win with you idiots, can we?

Did you not see all of our pussy arse "fans" melting because we were don 7 to State? We have some real bitches around here who are all probably crying and lubing up to get taken by AU.

I for one believe we will find a way to pull it out despite having half of our team crippled on the sideline. Should be a great game.

Which two weeks are you talking about? The two where you gave up 24 and 10 points?

I'm not worried about Auburn. Only concerned with my team.

We're talking specifically about the Auburn game. Auburn is probably, at peak performance, the most balanced offense in the country. And, it's an offense predicated on controlling the LOS in the run game and being able to PA Pass off of it.

The fact that we looked pretty mortal against State and LSU in our run defense is about the worst sign I could think of going into this football game. Doesn't mean we won't play better or Pruitt won't figure some new things out, but it's not a great time to all of a sudden go from giving up 1.8 YPC to 3.2 YPC.

I still think we are going to dial up some stuff and terrorize Stidham. I'm much more concerned about steady doses of the run game that give him a few PA passes.

LSU was a different game before SDH went down with injury.

We beat State because our offense played well. We will need a good offensive performance against Auburn to win because it seems unlikely we will limit Auburn's rushing attack.

Yep, it's just an honest observation on where the team is now. I hope I'm wrong, but I think we do have an uphill battle with the injuries + playing at Auburn.

I'm pretty much preparing for a loss with how things have gone lately.

Bama is more talented, but Auburn is playing great ball right now and stands a really good chance of winning. If we were at full strength I’d say Bama was the favorite but as it stands I’m expecting an Auburn victory.
