You didn't watch the game... Mississippi State controlled the game and ran the clock down on every play. State could have scored more, but their defense isn't great so they figured there best shot was to shorten the game. State had a 3:1 advantage in TOP.

State certainly controlled time of possession and did a fantastic job of getting 3rd and short situations and converting them.

However, I would not agree that they could have chosen to play a lot faster. Fitgerald was the key to everything they were doing and he was exhausted to the point of throwing up on the sideline as it was.

That said, I do agree that Alabama missing the four important linebackers has meant running gaps no one is used to seeing since Saban arrived.

Injuries are playing a huge role, but Alabama seems to be getting worse defensively at the most important juncture of the season. A loss to Auburn is a very real possibility.

Auburn will win. When they beat UGA, they beat Bama, and vice versa. I've made peace with it and take some consolation in the fact that it probably won't be by some insane fluke play like in 2013.

What I don't get is the continuted melting over Jalen. Like, I'd even agree that I don't think he is a NC caliber quarterback and last night he even won a game with his arm, which they swore he couldn't do, and they still can't get over it.

Yea it's crazy Jalen the last two games has played great. You can tell he is keeping his eyes down field when scrambling. He is becoming very dangerous for opposing defenses

Its real. AU just looked so damn good vs the number 1 team in the country and Bama has looked somewhat pedestrian PLUS we have seen this script before.

I've been prepping for the every 3/4 year Iron Bowl season destroying loss for roughly 10 months now.

It's the price we pay for world domination.

Alabama competes against perfection so Alabama fans look at their team with a critical eye. This team has flaws just like any other and the injuries are a problem.

I would not be surprised that AU is favored in the game.

It is just a matter of time and research before the betting public across the country sees what we see and then the line will move and Auburn will be favored.

I guess they expected us to beat our chest, but we are lucky to be undefeated right now. State should of won that game. I feel like we're going to need a few breaks to beat Auburn. It should be close game that could go either way.

Bama is in an unknown space. We have a coach who has won 10 games a year for 10 seasons. We are used to being favorites in the games we play.
This game can end wrong for us. But if we play as hard as we can with no stupid penalties and no turnovers there is no telling who will win.

One thing for sure, we got the GOAT coach on out side line. You got the GusBus. That has to count for something.

No just objective. You can't watch the DL the last two weeks and come to any other conclusion. Add in the fact that we're down starting LB who could help mask the deficiencies and you get where Bama is at. Just not our year.

We’re just being honest. 4 of the top 5 LBs aren’t playing, Keith Holcombe sucks arse, and OL has some concerns especially in pass protection.
