Yes, but that was when LSU was running an offense like Georgia has now. You know... a shitty one.

Not sure what else Mac has to do to prove he's more than capable enough to be a solid SEC QB.
He's basically made one mistake in 16 quarters of football, 8 of them against Auburn and Michigan.

I agree. He’s not Tua and MB isn’t Burrow. It’s going to be interesting watching LSU and Alabama fans adjust to not having truly elite generational talents at QB. Fans can be fickle and assholes.

How many were scared of Joe Burrow last year?
Experience, time to prepare, and confidence make all the difference in the world baw.
They changed the entire system.
Also, a jump like that has never happened before according to most NFL scouts.

It should be a good game. Hopefully they will all be competitive now since we aren’t running a shitty offense anymore

In the interest of an attempt to bring a gun to a gun fight, OP should post Burrow's stats from last year and compare them to Jones's this year.

Did Jones just arrive at Bama five weeks before starting his first game?
Is Bama planning on changing their offensive system during the offseason?

Message boards were invented for discussion and this message board was opened to have a place where fans could discuss the SEC of which Bama is a member and was one of only two teams to play today which began a lot of discussion.
Whatever makes you feel better though.

Not afraid, but I do know who Mac Jones is.. I have no idea who is behind Burrow, which is less intimidating.

True. But since Tua did get hurt, and Mac Jones has shown himself, and won vs a top 15 opponent, I respect his play, and he’ll be good enough in Bama system where they probably will lose less than 2 games.
