Are any top-tier SEC teams afraid of Mac Jones?

Sorry, but I see game manager and not dynamic playmaker. 10 wins...2 loses. Again.

If that is true, one of those loses won't be to LSU. You can take that to the bank.

With Davonta Smith, Henry Ruggs, and Jaylen Waddle sure

How confident are you in that?

He is much more than a game manager. He took some really big shots in the pocket and made excellent throws. No he is not Tua but Bamas season next year depends on the growth of the defense.

It hasnt grown much over a full season and bowl practice although I'm sure McMillan and Moses will help.

Idiotic statement.
What facts do you have to support this?

Wasn't that exactly what burrito was last year?

You either didn’t watch the game or you’re just a Bama hater watching with hater eyes. In only his fourth start, he stood in the pocket, took several wicked hits and went 16-25 for 327 yards, 3 TDs (to 3 different WRs) and 0 INTs vs a top 12 team (at game time). He’ll only get better.
Bama’s QB situation is fine.

That kid is more than a game manager.

Game managers won 7 in a row over you shite arse coonasses. Plus 2008 & 2009.

I think he's a very solid QB actually. Given his very limited experience, he has done very well.
If Sark didn't call 2 million screen passes, he probably could have put up closer to 400 yards today. I think he is much more than just a game manager.

How many were scared of Joe Burrow last year?
Experience, time to prepare, and confidence make all the difference in the world baw.
How many were afraid of Greg McElroy? I'd say none of the 14 teams that he beat the shite out of but that still doesn't take away his natty he won.

Mac jones is a good qb and more than enough for bama to win with a serviceable defense.

Nobody is saying he can’t take Bama to the playoffs. But he’s gonna need a good bit of help from his defense just like McElroy had.
Players improving as much as Burrow did is not typical. But a huge part of that “improvement” was because the system he was in last year was garbage. No QB would have looked good in that system.
