Wow so schools can now cut players for performance like an NFL franchise. This is wild

Pushed out so they can afford Cam Coleman.

Wide receivers aren’t worth as much as some are getting paid. Auburn made Cam a good offer but someone will pay more. You can get 2 really good receivers for the price of 1 Cam. Spend wisely. Indiana figured this out. Who on their team have you ever heard of except maybe the QB who wasn’t the top portal QB.

One thing I really hate about the new college football. No more keeping a commitment to players. Just cut them at will.

Tough look though when the QB can't stand up for his roommate
Kid had all the intangibles. So, hate this for him. But, in pro football you can’t miss on measurables & also have drops. Doesn’t matter who you room with.

Where does it say he was forced?

I highly doubt Texas forced him out. More likely they told him they’re bringing in a new WR1 (Cam Coleman is on campus right now) and he’s going to be passed on the depth chart.

Yep. Scholarships are one year at a time.

But if they can voluntarily enter the portal after a year or two, then they can be cut after a year or two.

No, but it does sound like he was informed his $ & targets were going down this next year. Meritocracy at work.

And now he’s going to OU. Something didn’t go right with this.

Can’t blame the kid for thinking he can get more money and more targets elsewhere. Wish him nothing but the best.

Because 1) he wanted to thank the fans and he couldn’t exactly go door to door to tell them all in person 2) he feels like he got stabbed in the back by the current college football industry and is venting.

A lot of people who don’t like the direction that college football is heading care. I would ask why you don’t care but your username answers that question.

Dang. What is the back story there? NIL funds running low or something else?

Sark had to throw players under the bus to excuse his shitty offense over the last three years. He’s incapable of looking in the mirror and seeing what the problem really is so heads have to roll unfortunately.

I bet most players feel this way and it really sucks. Everyone is just on a one-year contract now.

Your position can be taken at any time

And the fact that he’s going to Oklahoma definitely tells me he wants to stick it to them

I was thinking the same thing. He grew up a Longhorn fan so if he goes to OU he's doing it to give Sark the middle finger...at least that's what i suspect.
