It’s not just James. He’s stayed on TTU’s arse for not paying him what he believed he was owed until the end but TX has something called sovereign immunity which I think prevents public institutions from being sued. It’s not something Leach ever forgave, forgot, or stopped battling.

I used to talk to him on radio about this shite when he was in time out, his real anger was at Texas Tech and how they screwed him over. Much less so about Craig James, he think he was overprotective dad, etc but I never heard him get fired out about Craig James but he I did him going a few times about Texas Tech. He felt like the James thing was a set up and they were just looking for an excuse, yet they were immune from suit

Leach was talking before MSU’s bowl game against TT last season about how they owed him money.
He definitely never let it go, and justifiably so IMO. The judge or judges who dismissed his case against TTU were Tech grads. He got absolutely railroaded.
