It took some digging to do, but a tight end for TCU called out his teammate saying that’s not how it went down at all and that he’s doing it for playing time/attention.

You don't think that word is EVER used to demonize an entire sub group of Whites? Seriously? Not even most Whites back in the day thought all Blacks were the n word by the way. Chris Rock did an entire routine on how a certain subsection of Blacks "has got to go," and he used the n word.
Politicians HAVE advocated for "rednecks" to be placed at a distinct disadvantage relative to less qualified non Whites, even those of upper income. The avg SAT of lower income Whites is higher than that of upper income Blacks by the way.

Don’t wanna turn this into a black and white thing, but being a black person who has rarely used the word, I don’t know what Patterson was thinking. I understand the kid is at fault for using the word also, but for Patterson to have a teaching point and say the word, was not the route to go.

In regards to this, no body should use that word. I don’t care what color your skin is! If is is so “hurtful” It can destroy somebody’s career if a white man uses it then no body should use it. Makes sense doesn’t it?
