Yes, that's what happens when you beat borderline top 25 teams.
When you beat a team in the top 15, they end up in the borderline top 25 range afterwards.
That's what's most impressive about UGA's schedule this year. They beat Texas, Tennessee and Clemson and those teams even with that loss to UGA are ranked 3rd, 7th and 12th. Their lowest ranked loss is currently at 15th... which means even if UGA had won the games to give them additional losses they'd still be ranked.
None of those are borderline opponents who are only ranked because UGA lost to them.
A&M IS a borderline opponent. They'll only stay ranked if they beat Texas.
Other than UGA, Texas has a very weak schedule this year. That's all you're seeing. You basically lucked into a slate like Indiana had in the Big 10.

I asked people on tRant who should be ranked over Bama since people are so mad theyre at #13. Got down votes but nobody seems to be able to answer the question. People just thinking with their feelings instead of looking at the data.

Sandusky didn’t assault children but a ton of famous people associated with Penn State did. Ray Gricar was about to blow the case wide open so they killed him.

We don’t deserve a spot. Having said that, it’s not what any of us want, it’s what Disney / ABC needs to sell high dollar ads. Alabama is the most watched College team. Look at the ratings for this year’s games

Simple they have 2 losses Texas has 1. Head to Head in rankings really matters when record is the same, otherwise you could play the head to head game all over the rankings subjectively moving teams up and down.

Lol at Miami and Boise State for seed 3 and 4. Stay in shitty conference and play zero ranked team all year, get a bye week in the playoffs. Not all conferences are made equal.

The only thing I know for sure is they will place two SEC teams head to head first game to try to knock as many out as they can early
