Hard to believe, huh? Almost exactly 15 years ago. It feels hopeless. And we’ve got seven more of these games to endure this season. As the losses pile up (blowouts, not the one score games like last season), surely there will be a tipping point . Someone, somewhere with some type of authority does SOMETHING more than pass a ‘resolution’. The first step, of course, is Yurachek. And his replacement has to be an Arkansas boy. After that, who knows. Posted on 10/4/26 at 1:13 am to DomesticatedBoar
Never underestimate Tennessee’s ability to shite themselves in Fayatteville

And then, you met the Honey Badger in Tiger Stadium and that was that.

Yep. It took twelve games for us to have our ‘reality’ game. We were still a step or three below. We did beat Kansas State in the Cotton Bowl and finished #5.

Good memories from that year for sure

I believe that was the same year as 13 men on the field.

The guy who gave them that season was on the staff just last season and was basically ready to accept the job at any moment. His offense put up good numbers and gave them opportunities to win games.
Instead, the moron AD blew him off and picked a guy who has no chance to ever win in this league. Petrino, even with that disaster of a defense he was left with last season, made them competitive. This new coach has not even put them in position to be competitive against any team with a pulse. It's blowout after blowout. Silverfield has shown zero signs of life.
