Why is it that now there are no rules, then suddenly Texas is back.

Were the rest of y'all cheating or something? Say it ain't so.

Kalen DeBoer has a 1-0 record vs. the current AP #1.

Bama looks silly playing like a PAC team. Milroe runs the ball every other play. That's pee-wee and ghetto.

Saban had a full football package. I can see it falling back to sandlot ball already. You'll beat the teams you should beat, but the big boys will shut that mess down.

You're gonna miss Saban.

Having a team that lost 2 games on the field ranked 16th makes a mockery of the poll.

Not that it matters much, and the poll is likely correct, but we move down one spot after beating a ranked team. The team that jumped us beat a team from the MAC.

Makes sense.

Georgia had a much tougher opponent than Texas. That is was a close game shouldn't be enough to swap poll positions.

I think the bulk of our (relatively) knowledgeable fans are perfectly fine with the drop. Would not have complained if it were a spot or two lower. We play at least 4 of the top 10-15 teams in the country, 3 on the road. It will all come out in the wash. Either the team will come through it and win another championship, or they will get exposed as not that great. Time will tell. Either way, no one will be able to point at the schedule and say they didn’t earn it if they win this year.

Good grief don't be such a weenie.

First you'll have a chance to take it back in a few weeks, and maybe against our backup QB.

Second, your premise is false, if anything has been proven in sports it's that heart beats talent and that talent alone (be it recruited, bought, or otherwise) doesn't equal wins. Sark has done a hell of job developing talent and building a culture. Whether it's enough to hold on to #1 all season remains to be seen.

I thought UT was referred to as UT-Austin. This just seems confusing.

Who do you have them playing? Ole Miss, Bama or UGA?

I did show you the goods. That 2019 schedule was insane and four of the teams were #1 at one point in the season. I'm sorry we scheduled Clemson instead of Tulane. That's not taking anything away from your beloved Sooners. You're not the only team to ever have a tough schedule and in fact there's one tougher SEC schedule than yours in this season and that's Florida. Plus they also had Miami as a cherry on top.

Ask Tennessee how well this worked out for them. Lol. What a gift. I was legit hoping we dropped.

Winner of UGA-Bama will probably jump up to #1, or at least get very close.

There should be fluidity in early season polls.
