Cornelius Bennett nor Don Hutson on the second team was surprising. But these lists are impossible. Always some great players left out.

LOL Joe Burrow threw for 5,671 yards, 60 tds (6 interceptions), and rushed for 368 and 5 tds (6,039 total yds/65 tds). Tebow threw for 3,286 yards and 32 touchdowns (6 interceptions), and rushed for 895 yards and 23 touchdowns (4,181 total yds/55 tds). Both had Heisman/Natty. Tebow was awesome, but Burrow is the GOAT and it isn't close.

Tim Tebow was just not a greatest QB of 100 years QB. He was obviously a Heisman, but he just wasn't an elite passer to put him at level of greatest 100 years. Burrow was without question a better QB his last year. Tebow had no shot to make some of the throws that Burrow did.

No Reggie White?

No Eric Berry?

No Lawrence Taylor? Taylor was the second player taken in the draft. He was a monster in college.

Tebow over Cam is questionable. Depends on if its one game or multiple seasons.

Cam was a force of nature. He's the correct choice. Over Tebow for sure and I have no hate for Tebow.

100% not questionable.

Tebow is the character vote. Hell of a young man.

But, pure talent at the position. I don't know.

I like him over Cam. Tebow 100% jumps on the ball at the Super Bowl.

But, there are lots of great QBs out there. Seems an odd choice

These lists are never about pure talent.
He was damn near unstoppable in CFB.

I'm not sure about that. But, his work ethic, faith, and commitment to his team were. On the latter, he may be the best we'll ever see. For that, he deserves to be on the list. Even in today's landscape, he is the rare kid that wouldn't choose the money over commitment

I would have Henry over Griffin. Griffins stats aren't that good and no way he deserved that second Heisman. Of all the legendary RB that have come through the SEC only 1 has had a 2000 yard season so that's who I'm going with.

I ChatGPT’d top 11 college players offensively all time. Here is what it came up with.

1 Tim Tebow QB Florida 2006–2009 2× national champion, Heisman winner, one of the most dominant leaders in college football history.

2 Herschel Walker RB Georgia 1980–1982 Won the Heisman in 1982, 3× All-American, ran for over 5,000 yards in only three seasons.

3 Barry Sanders RB Oklahoma State 1986–1988 1988 Heisman, 2,628 rush yards and 37 TDs in a single season — still jaw-dropping.

4 Archie Griffin RB Ohio State 1972–1975 Only 2-time Heisman winner in history.

5 Tommy Frazier QB Nebraska 1992–1995 Led Nebraska to back-to-back national titles with his option-running mastery.

6 Bo Jackson RB Auburn 1982–1985 Heisman winner, freak athleticism, game-breaking speed/power combo.

7 Cam Newton QB Auburn 2010 Only played one season, but had one of the greatest single years ever — Heisman, national title, 50+ TDs.

8 Johnny Manziel QB Texas A&M 2012–2013 First freshman to win the Heisman; electric dual-threat.

9 DeVonta Smith WR Alabama 2017–2020 2020 Heisman-winning WR, 2× national champion, clutch performer.

10 Adrian Peterson RB Oklahoma 2004–2006 As a freshman: 1,925 yards — an NCAA record. Injuries kept him from even more.

11 Charles Woodson CB/WR/KR Michigan 1995–1997 Mostly defense, but his offensive/return impact in ‘97 Heisman season makes him an all-time weapon.

As a Bama fan, smith being on there is wrong

Don Hutson was not a tight end. He was actually the first of his kind and the pioneer of the wide receiver position.

Wonder if the third reciever would be someone extremely fast like Harvin or a tough bada&& like Julio Jones?

Honestly. Barry Sanders was the best RB I ever saw play the game. But he was a one year starter at OK State. That’s not enough body of work to make this list.

I guess there were some really good Defensive lineman over the years because not seeing David Pollack on this list - After what he did his freshman year in college will always surprise me. Obviously didn't have a good NFL career but man his college prime was unreal.

Here's a more detailed look at his college career:
Career Stats:
283 total tackles, 58.5 tackles for loss, 36 sacks, 117 quarterback pressures, 18 pass breakups, four interceptions, seven forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.

Three-time First-Team All-SEC, two-time SEC Defensive Player of the Year, and a three-time All-American.

Won the Lombardi, Bednarik, and Hendricks Awards in 2004, and the Hendricks Award in 2003.
Record Setter:

Holds Georgia's career records for sacks (36) and tackles for loss (58.5), and ranks third in NCAA history in career sacks.

Barry Sanders one year - Was better than any year a college RB has ever had and will ever have. It's probably statistically one of the greatest stat lines of any position. That in my opinion will never be topped or touched - EVER - especially as teams look to do more RB by group. Its hard to say anyone deserves it over him with how great he was - in that one year.

If they're grading players by overall body of work in college, I don't see the issue with Tebow over Burrow. If they were putting together the team based on best single seasons ever, then Burrow should be over Tebow.
