When did receiving a full ride to college for playing ball become not enough?
I know do you? It is right before your eyes.

Funny how Americans sold out to the left and their clamoring about income disparity and inequality. Meanwhile college football just sold out to entitlement culture in the name of pure greed, yet pride themselves on toting the progressive precept.
Now that's a paradox worth discussing with your favorite woke professor.

Even if they get the schools under control, what legal recourse really stops rogue boosters from getting even more aggressive now?

They’re all so afraid of A&M and the 8 five stars they signed. They’re also scared of Texas.
“Saban’s scared of up tempo offenses”
Saban puts together a dominant up tempo offense.
“Saban’s scared of dual threat QBs”
Saban wins the SEC with a converted RB at QB.
“Saban’s scared of the transfer portal”
Saban picks up the RB, WR and CB in the portal.
Saban literally warns you all when one of these rule changes happens, you mock him for it, and then he goes in dry on your team with the rule change.

Exactly how much money are you under the impression that it is going to take to sign an elite signing class in this theoretical world where teams are buying all 25 scholarship recruits in a signing class?
it’s not just about who can pay the most to each player, but how much can you pay quality backups? and how many of them can you pay for?
How many players can each team have on the roster?

Unless you're Nick Saban. That dude might as well have a time machine up in his straw hat.

You're the only guy in here willing to admit the truth. All this arse hurt is because now the programs with the sneakiest bag men are no longer able to outbid all the others.
Nobody said a single goddamn cock sucking motherfricking word when Clemson went from doing OK to bring it in 6 to 8 5 stars every recruiting cycle.
Not one single word.
You think that happened because Dabo Sweeney is some kind of recruiting whisper?
Bull fricking shite
All this whining is because the back room deals are now available to everyone.

Coaches have contracts and there are penalties for leaving early.

Look, I agree that college football’s current structure is unsustainable. But remember about 10-15 years ago when coaching salaries started blowing up and this same argument was being made? I believe it was soon after Bob Stoops got a massive contract. These coaches are just late to the argument and get no credit from me for saying i after they’ve reaped the financial benefits of the system. Not a one of them would be willing to take a massive pay cut to make it more sustainable.

Dabo was on Mike Dubose’s staff at Alabama when we got hammered by the NCAA, and was curiously out of coaching for a couple of years after that. Dabo knows how to cheat with the best of them. It’s why his aw shucks Opie at church act is so nauseating.

Yeah. Dabo and the rest of them are pissing and moaning because the there's no more NCAA constantly looking the other way while having a 75+ year microscope up Aggy's arse.
They don't like the new competition.

So are the soaring salaries of head coaches and coordinators along with the annual 5-6 figure raises for coaching staffs - even at schools that are supposedly 'losing' money, are they sustainable?
I bet you every single one of these coaches thinks that tsunami of money flowing into their coffers is just fine and quite sustainable.

I agree that NIL will change College football in ways that we do not currently see at this point...
However, head coaches will lose some control over their roster and team and that is what they are most concerned with...
