No. Who has bama defeated?

Unranked Georgia?
Unranked Tennessee?
Unranked Wisconsin?

Oh look they beat #25 Texas A&M.

Yet they lost to 2-loss, #19 Ole Miss.

What about that resume screams Top 4? Or even Top 10 at this point.

Good thing the committee looks at the rank at the time the game was played and doesn't listen to you. Who have you played or LSU? Get real we can play this game all day.

LSU yes. Bama no. Doesn't matter, though. Saturday night tells the tale.

No they don't. They look at the season as a whole and they do not pay attention to rankings one bit.

They absolutely could care less if some outside irrelevant poll had Wisconsin overrated in the preseason. It has zero factor in their own ratings that will be released tonight.

I don't know what it's going to look like but I know the cfb subreddit is going to be hilarious with people crying about SEC bias.

Bama got beat by a team that lost to Memphis

And last year the national champion lost to a 6-6 Virginia Tech team. What does this have to do with anything? Bama won't be in the initial top 4, but if they beat LSU they will.

Agreed. If any 1-loss team is in the top 4, I think it's going to be Notre Dame, since their only loss is a very close road loss to undefeated Clemson.

they'll likely swap 3 and 6/7 if bama wins

Wouldn't be shocked to see Bama in but Bama in and not LSU would make no sense.

I don't think Bama sneaks in with a win. You still have TCU/Baylor/Clemson/OSU/MSU/Iowa potentially (I think Okie State plays one of the Big 12 undefeated). They will eventually get in of course since the numbers dictate it, but I think they are 8ish or so right now and 6 or so if they win

Either way, if we make the playoffs, we will have a rematch with either Bama or Florida. Get ready boys, it's gonna be a hell of a post-season!
So you're conceding a loss to Alabama this weekend, huh?

Their list will look pretty much like the polls - shocker.

LSU will be top 2.

Alabama will be between 5-7.

1) Clemson
2) LSU
3) Michigan State
4) Ohio State
5) TCU
6) Notre Dame
7) Alabama
8) Baylor
9) Florida
10) Stanford

Notre Dame and Alabama are interchangeable, probably.

I think if Bama wins out, a 1-loss SECC could easily get passed over this year. Too many undefeateds hanging around.

I don't know about "easily". The Pac-12 already has no undefeated teams left. Only one of Ohio State/Michigan State/Iowa is going to make it in. Only one of Baylor/TCU/Oklahoma State. And then Clemson. So that's three, plus one one-loss SEC/Pac-12 team.

And that's only if the other three put forth an undefeated representative. There's a pretty good chance they won't. Plus, LSU has to lose first, and they're trying their hardest to prove the little four year cycle is a legit thing.
