All subjective. We claim 2. NCAA credits us with 6, I think.

Did you know that 2 out the 3 of LSU's poll era national championships are shared?

Out of Bama's poll era championship, 5 out of 12 are shared.

Poll era, Georgia claims 2; but 1942 did not win a major poll championship. Ohio State won the AP which was the only major poll at that time.

Georgia was 2nd in the ap poll that year. LINK

No. If Alabama has 12, Notre Dame has 10 or however many, then the 9th or 10th team with 4 isn't elite by any stretch.

You sir, are retarded, though as a former tds infected liberal its to be expected. First, if LSU counted NCs like Bama and some others we'd have 7 going on 8 but we dont, ours are 100% legit.

That said, we are top 10 in wins, NCs, bowl wins, all time and probably top 3 in those categories this century, sorry to break it to you but that's elite.

Its not Bama or Clemson's last 5 years but we'll take it and add to it in about 32 hours...

It's a stretch to include Minnesota in this conversation. To be elite you need to have done something in modern times.

I'm sure there are all kinds of interesting Stats and accomplishments that happened when 13% of the US Population was excluded from playing major CFB

TBH the NCAA and the individual Colleges are free to recognize those meaningless accomplishments, but I feel the CFB Media should only recognize CFB stats post 1950

No, I'm interested in history, and I read a lot.

Per major polls (recognized by the NCAA) during the poll era.

1961 - Bama (AP/UPI/NFF) shares with Ohio St (FWAA)
1964 - Bama (AP/UPI); Arkansas (FWAA); ND (NFF)
1965 - Bama (AP/FWAA); Mich. St. (UPI/NFF/FWAA)
1973 - Bama (UPI); ND (AP/NFF/FWAA)

Okay. All I am saying is the NCAA recognizes 6 and we only recognize 2.

That was for the benefit of the Florida fan that thought he was being cute.

People can argue about which ones they personally recognize, and that is fine. Georgia claims two...the NCAA recognizes 6.

you expect us to click on a slide show? Screw that noise. I know The University of Alabama Crimson Tide is #1 in the poll era so not interested in the rest of it anyway.
