Still think there is a decent chance he stays. Apparently he’s been going through a tough family situation and his family actually prefers he stay at Alabama. Hope he doesn’t leave, but we’ll be just fine regardless.

How do you stay eligible as a freshman not attending classes? Seems like he won’t be for long.

Yea I hate that for him too. Wish him all the best regardless where he attends and plays. Prayers for the young man and his family.

Don’t worry, Auburn fans actually like when Alabama fans bring us news...our “insiders” and writers definitely can’t bring it. As a fanbase, we feel like they make up stuff.

I literally don’t see this anywhere in this thread.

I hope everything works out for both him and his family, whether he actually leaves Alabama or not.

They allow for family hardships at all schools.

Rival fans angry at a kid getting help while his grandmother is dying.

Yup, classiness abounds.

Auburn beat writers don't bring the heat, literally, like Bama's Cecil Hurt complaining about all the September afternoon games?

He's getting so much help he entered the transfer portal? That doesn't seem to make sense.

I posted this because I didn't see any one else posting it on here and it is news regardless. Not one Auburn fan has given you any indication of the Bull Shite you just spouted so get off your high horse. You don't weigh enough lil boy.

I don’t want to make this sound cold hearted or anything of that sort, but if his grandmother is on life support and passing, why would he transfer? Not saying don’t go home and be with your family, but for the rest of his career. Feel sorry for the kid having to go through this.

valid point. Maybe he isn't sure how things are going to turn out. Just weighing options. That sucks for a 19 year old kid with so much potential to have to deal with.

This early, you can withdraw from classes or take an incomplete. Students miss class for family emergencies all the time and a lot of professors will wait on turning your grades in to give you time to do makeup work if your situation is legit.

Even if he's just not going and has said nothing to his professors (IOW, assume that he's failing each class), he's not going to be academically ineligible until the end of the semester.
