You were fine in the championship game last year so that makes sense. Definitely seemed like y'all had talent to burn vs Clemson.

Auburn beat writers don't bring the heat, literally, like Bama's Cecil Hurt complaining about all the September afternoon games?

If the administration at Auburn is pissing off the side of the building, the Auburn beat writers will tell you it's raining outside.

For those keeping track of the recent Alabana transfers/people quitting:

Eyabi Anoma:
- 2018 #4 overall, #1 DE
- 4th highest rated signee in Alabana history
- Highest rated defensive signee in Alabana history

Antonio Alfano:
- 2019 #5 overall, #1 DE
- 13th highest rated signee in Alabana history
- 4th highest rated defensive signee in Alabana history

Kedrick James:
- Starting TE
- One of the best players I’ve ever seen
- Mix of Randy Moss and Rob Gronkowski

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
It don’t always be like that,
Just kidding, it do.

Vandarius Cowen (2017 high 4 star Outside linebacker) was kicked off the team in the summer of 2018.

These losses are going to hit them hard. Dylan Moses and Labryan Ray were five stars and went down to injury. Patrick Surtain is the only former 5 star remaining on the Alabama two deep defensive depth chart.

It could be that he just isn't a good fit in Tuscaloosa. I note he's from New Jersey so that's quite a transition (culturally and otherwise) for an 18 yr old to make even without the pressures of football and your grandmother being on life support.

Ray will be back for LSU. There's really no meaningful game before then anyway. Moses was replaced by the ESPN #1 ILB in the 2019 recruiting class.
Christian Harris was already pushing McMillon before Mcmillon went down.

Wait - so Alabana had to replace their starting upperclassmen middle linebacker with a true freshmen?

Wow.

He should transfer to State where he will get more playing time. Plus moving would be easy it is only 80 miles down the road

Was this the guy that was the biggest stand out player at the UA bowl?

What's even more bizarre about the situation is that, while missing from class and practice, Alfano isn't actually in the transfer portal yet, according to the report.

His father's tweet was on 9/13, and nothing since then. I think the kid is trying to decide between being closer to his ill grandmother, and staying with Alabama like his father wishes. I think his dad is also trying to explain to him that being closer would not be helpful for his grandmother.

I wish the kid all the best; I can understand leaving to be close to an ill loved one. I moved back home and went to a closer school when my mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness. She wasn't hospital-ridden, though, and I was able to spend that time with her. I think my father would have likely told me to stay at the school I was at if she had been unresponsive in a hospital bed, but I don't know how I would have reacted.

Where's the thread where we track which LSU and Auburn fans are celebrating the illness of a player's grandmother?

Asking for a friend.

The kid got beat out by a 3 star and a four star freshman. And he quit. UA's defense is desperate for DL's. Both inside starters are raw freshmen and he is not one of them. After he and others committed Bama kept on looking and recruiting linemen and I suspected they new they didn't have the right ones on board. The defense is in a once in lifetime jam having lost so many players for the season (starting five freshmen) so if he were big time balling he would be playing. And he wasn't.

Bama will pay a price on defense this season. Some where, we'll get lite up, S.C. did a number on us at times but Tua bailed us out. A&M? For sure Burrow will be in his run up to a Heisman possibility and AU at home.
