It looks like a shove to the chest, collarbone in this angle. Reach of a call. Should have just called roughing.

It's written in black and white. Speaking of White, his helmet made contact with Fitz. /Thread

Mack's facemask hit him in the chest first and he ran through the hit. White's helmet hit Fitz's helmet. That's the rule. The refs inforced it. I don't see what everyone is so upset about. Please, L8U fans, spare us the conspiracy theories.

Dumb...White fell over after shoving Fitz to the ground. He fully extended his arms away from Fitz to throw him to the ground, then fell. He did not launch himself. If he did, he would have made contact higher than Fitz’s chest.

Why would you? That was a legal hit, and so was White's hit. The problem was not the hit it was the inconsistent officiating. Both was legal football hits.

If Bama thinks they will destroy LSU no matter what, why are they so happy Devin White can’t play. Makes you think they are secretly worried about the game.

So give me your opinion.....It doesn't look like Guarantano ever saw Wilson coming and Fitzgerald saw White coming straight at him. In fact, it forced him to rush his throw. Which QB was truly "defenselesss"? While Wilson may not have lead with the crown of his helmet, the facemask clearly made contact with Guarantano in the neck area at the very least regardless of whether he "ran through the QB".

It was Bordeline roughing the passer and I can see how one could call that on white and Mack, both were clean to me. But to call targeting and ejection was complete bs.

oh so you didn’t lose your all-American linebacker for half a game because of it? Cool comparison.

We don't need dangerous players like Devin White who breaks the rules in the game.
He should be suspended the whole game.

Ever hear of "motivated reasoning?" Because that's what this thread is. Bama got lucky. LSU got unlucky. It is as simple as that. No further analysis needed.

Did he also define "forcible"?

What's done is done. Didn't Bama lose 4 LBs last year due to injury? We don't like it, but shite happens. You have 2 weeks to get someone ready to go.

The Bama player did this. The rule is meant to protect the defender, in addition to protecting the defenseless offensive guy.

You honestly cannot tell the difference between the two hits?
