During that 40-year period where they didn't play, Alabama captured that segment of the population, and they've held on to it ever since.

I would have thought Lowndes County would have more of an Auburn presence than Bama. Was in the Priester Pecan store recently and there was an abundance of Auburn themed merchandise for sale, not so much for Bama

Bama fans like to support their relatives that are making the plates.

That's interesting data and generally seems about right.

I'd live to see one of those for all the college tags in Georgia.

Imagine what the numbers would look like if they based it on Wal-Mart t-shirts.

I'm surprised it is that high. The Gump is strong in the city of Opelika and greater Lee Country.

I think its pretty well known that Bama holds a much bigger portion of the fans in the state

Which is likely one reason why Auburn has to get a large no. of recruits for the state of Georgia.

So, are there a lot of cars with key scratches in Alabama?

No way it's this low. No way. Elmore County's Alabama fans outweigh it's Auburn fans by a bigger margin than that.

The main reason why Auburn trails so much in this category, is you do not need a license plate for a tractor!
