Alabama seems to more often play up to competition and suck vs. the rest of the field.

Alabama has a team that is capable of beating a team like Villanova by a good 20 points if they played to their potential.

Unfortunately it’s a one man show most of the time and just about every player is a freshman. And the coach is Avery Johnson.

I seriously doubt they beat Tech, but there is absolutely not a chance in hell that Bama beats Villanova. That's fricking ridiculous

If you were a Bama fan this would be one of the more delusional things I've read on this board regardless of sport/school/ or team.
As an Auburn fan I assume this is some sort of desperate coping mechanism for our recent beat down at their hands, because you apparently don't understand college basketball that well and how meaningless that game was to AU and how meaningful it was to Bama. Combined with a chicken little mentality = this.

Either that or your relatively low, but not quite suspiciously low post count over the course of a nearly decade suggests that you're the alter of a rather active Bama troll.

But no matter the explanation, I think we can all agree this is a completely ridiculous and stupid post that is a huge emotional overreaction

You're kidding right?

Bama's 2nd best offensive efficiency game was 1.15 points per possession
That isn't even a top 25 offensive game for Nova this season despite playing in an arguably tougher conference

His dumbass probably heard the announcer on the selection show, that clearly hadn't seen Bama play all year outside of Sexton highlights and looking Sextons stat line, and this dumbass who gets paid to supposedly be a CBB expert actually said if Bama gets last Tech that Bama vs Nova would be a high scoring game, I shite you not his exact quote was "The type of game between Bama and Villanova where the first to 100 wins" holy shite, homeboy doesn't have a clue

I guarantee FourThreeFourty hasn't seen Bama play much more than said announcer, and knows next to nothing about basketball, and has just latched onto what that announcer and this OP said. Combined with tbe emotional high of beating AU in a game where we stopped trying at halftime so we could go home, and this is how you end up with all these dumbasses that think Bama is some sort of contender and Sexton is better than just an elite scorer.

they weren't that bad that year. Number 9 seed in the tournament. Not near as good as their recent teams though, which I know is your point.

It’s march numbnuts. George Mason can go to a final four and Bucknell can beat Duke. They would be heavy underdogs but to say they don’t have a chance with a lottery pick at PG is typical bowljackson dumbassery. I’m sure you gave that team with Pettway a great shot of beating 1 seed Stanford after needing a buzzer beater to get by southern Illinois in the first round. Probably gave them a great shot against Syracuse in the sweet 16 too.

Try not to be a fricking idiot the entire time you’re drawing breath.

No, I was thinking of their 2012 team that went 13-19. Since we played them super early and killed them the thought was that they weren't very good again. That's what my brain remembered from that game

What is your excuse for the first time Bama beat auburn this year? Bama is better than auburn when they come to play, and proved it by beating auburn two out of three times - including a beatdown on a neutral floor. Auburn was more consistent this year, but Bama is better when they came to play. If auburn and Bama switched conference schedules this year, the results would have been quite different.
