No, only the winner makes the SECCG

I guess a 16 team league has inherent imbalances in scheduling.
The top 4 that don’t make the top 2 get a week of rest and self scout. The 2 “best” get to prepare and play a violent game to determine who gets a bye in playoff.
Is this the last SEC championship game?

It wouldn't surprise me.

It should be. In fact, there never should have been a conference championship game to begin with...

^care to explain in more detail?
During BCS it was essentially a play in opportunity most seasons.

Ah just like last year.

I hope not. The SECCG is usually an awesome game

Well, this is different than last year. And I don't see the winner losing more than one or Texas losing more than one

Potentially, saw it reported that part of the ongoing talks regarding the 24-team format includes buying out the championship games.

Why is that? Either with only 1 loss could still be the best two SEC records. What am I missing?
