Curious - are there certain points of the game that the rules don't apply?

Do we know which rules, and which points of the game? or is it just made up by the refs on a game by game situation?

Alabama always got a call/missed call when they needed one

No one said BAMA didn't get calls against them, but everyone on here has seen a game where BAMA start slow against an inferior opponent, and to protect the SEC race horse, the officials would do what they needed to, to prop BAMA up, until they started getting the game under control. At that point, they know they can throw a few meaningless penalties in, to even things out. Everyone but BAMA knows how this game was played.

I would never argue that Alabama didn’t have calls go against them.

What I will argue is that Alabama benefited to a lot of no calls during critical plays.

SEC officiating is poor overall and I would not be surprised to find out a few zebras were sports betting through 3rd parties.

I’m on shift now.

It’s the timing of the call.

When presented with facts relevant to the discussion, I realize Bama fans would not understand the concepts.

Yes, your team gets a lot of penalties, which suggests a lack of discipline—point taken. However, you also receive fewer calls against you when the game is important—point proven. Perhaps someone nearby with a GED can explain this to you.

Funny how Alabama is supposed to get all these calls, and yet the only thing people post are gifs out of context, an ignorance of the rules and other false claims.

The yellow line wasn't accurate and you can see that in your gif. You use it to claim he was short on the fall, but then ignore where he was and that the ball was spotted in the same place.

Here is the guy right before the touches the ground. Notice the ball is just short of the yellow line.

What do you know, the ball was spotted correctly. You can even see in this image that the ball is at the 1st down marker.

I think there is always this narrative when a team is really good and/or popular because a call in a key situation matters so much. A win would be huge for fans of the other team, fans of everyone else want the really good team to lose.

Like the Cowboys for instance, at least as of a few years ago, had borderline calls go AGAINST them more than almost any team in the NFL, but when they get one its "Goodell rigged the game for Dallas"

Do the stats prove Bama has not been on the good end of many major calls in UGA/Bama games?

When it was utter rubbish, sure why not? You GA fans are full of shite pretending you wouldn't be outraged yourselves. But yeah we still can't hold a candle to 2008 though...

Are you blind?

And to echo the other posters, it is the timing of the calls.

Let me guess, you think the yellow line is accurate even though I pointed out elsewhere that it's not.

I can hear the quieting of the outrage from the UGA fans who took over X trying to say "Alabama used to get all the calls", then you put this graph in front of them and their lips start quivering in disappointment.

UGA penalties last week - 7-57
Bama penalties last week - 5-50

So, by your logic, we good. The only quivering lips around here are the quivering vaginal lips from the sand pouring out of Bama fans.

Uh, cuz it makes you look like a giant, throbbing Vulvatard. As I told another Bama poster, Bama got some bad calls, but UGA got some bad calls. That part of the game was a wash, let it go and exit puberty.
