These kids are not being paid by the Universities. SCOTUS has ruled. I don’t see how they can regulate what these kids get paid. It is what it is. Don’t agree with Senator Tuberville here. We don’t need more government.
The only real solution is to take away their “amateur” status but then that ends college football.

Long term NIL will kill recruiting for many teams. Hard to keep up with the A&Ms, UTs and USCs of the world. That is why they are trying to get control of it through the Senate. There will be 4-6 Senators fighting against TT. Guess where they will be from?

It might be scary to what what congress can accomplish with someone who is actually knowledgeable about the subject they are attempting to legislate. He’s probably the only qualified person in DC to tackle this.

Manchin needs to pull a Zell Miller and switch over to the R's. It's not like he'll face backlash in red WV. What's funny is Liz C gets more love from the libs than Manchin or Sinema. Actually not funny, aggravating. Fickle partisans
