It was not serious enough to kill this Alabama fan just because he gave a hard time to a grown man playing football. Football is a rough sport played by rough men with rough fans.
It's not worth a death though. Alabama went too far in their punishment and I'd like to see a ruling on this punishment by the NCAA.

He didn’t swing on the guy. And how about as a player don’t go right up to first row Bama fans and get up in their face? Did the players get warned as well? Or was that ok by the player

The UGA fans come down by the tunnel to cheer on the players as they leave the stadium.
Don't your fans do that?
The Bama fan came down 30 rows (just like the other UGA fans). He literally looked like a dawg fan hoping to dap up the players before they exited.
