We're not being compared to be the #1 team here. We're talking about in comparison to other teams with losses and multiple losses.
I think the entire format is stupid, but don't sit around tell me teams like ND should be ranked ahead because they shouldn't be.

Ohio State has never, and I said never had a bye before Michigan.
Neither has Michigan before us. Big Ten doesn’t have byes 2nd to last week. OP is just making $hi! Up

It’s always been this way. The SEC tried to put a rule in place for it after basically every team scheduled a bye before Bama but here we are.

I mean, in fairness Alabama was off also in 3 of those 4 games, so they only faced two teams that had a bye week in which Alabama also didn't have a bye week.
It's not like Alabama had a ton of teams with an advantage.
For instance, using the exact same logic you used Georgia played:
Marshall
Alabama
Auburn
Florida
Texas
All of those teams had a bye week before we played them.
We did not have an off week before playing Auburn or Texas.
I have yet to see a single thread of Georgia fans complaining about this horrific unfair scheduling.

You guys need to stop crying. Georgia played 5 teams this year that had byes before they played us. Do teams schedule bye weeks before they play Alabama? I'm sure they do. They also do before they play Georgia, so it's not like the whole world is dead set against Alabama.

Gotta love these Alabama fans that, when faced with logic and facts hit the down vote button and run and hide instead of admitting they are wrong, and being silly.

I went back to 2006 and to that point this is correct. I felt like it was a waste of time to go back further.

Lindenwood sort of took away from Tony Romo’s alma mater’s time to prep for Bama.
Also when you play Lindenwood, it’s very physical. It takes weeks to recover.

OU played AT Tennessee, and AT Bama. OU won both which has never been done before. They deserved a week off.
