That's so awesome! I'm happy for those kids. They'll remember that as long as they live.

By far, the most miserable game I've ever been to in my life, both for the weather and for the abortion of decent football.
The first SEC Championship game at Legion Field was the most miserable for me- it was so fracking cold. I bought sweatshirts to put over my sweatshirts, to put over my sweatshirts.
The football was great though.

I was there... 9-0 AU victory... Makers made it worth sitting in the north end zone on that cold as $&@$ day

I left Tuscaloosa around 1:30 this afternoon and took 82 to Montgomery. Top 3 dumbest decision in my life.

A damn shame, a qb from my alma mater is going to you guys.
Graduated from PVHS back in 2002, and always remember us getting our azzes kicked by Hoover and the like. Had a good bball team until we ran into John Carroll in the playoffs.

I remember beeing so hyped about that #3 preseason ranking. Then promptly shitting the bed against UCLA....
But I beat them in NCAA 2001!
Ha! I did the same shite!
Ahh the dark days. Hanging our hats on Bear & Gene, and getting our hopes up on everything lol

The worst for me was Boston college when we played them in Foxboro in 83. It snowed like a foot the night before. At kick-off it was 17 degrees (at noon) and freezing rain. I have never been able to understand how people live in that shite.

Freddie Millons is my favorite Alabama player of all-time.

Nix has 2 INTs already in the first half and no TDs.

I remember the 2001 southern miss game at legion field. It was a makeup game because of 9/11 and was played the week after the iron bowl. Every single person huddled under the old upper deck. It rained the entire damn game and was pretty cold.

Nix has done good in the second half. One rushing TD and has hit some big passes.

I think Nix ended up with 2 rushing TDs & a passing TD. He got MVP. He looked much much better in the second half.
PV totally shut down Wetumpka in the second half.

I was there. End zone seats, Florida section. I had a flask of southern comfort in my sock. I wasn't even a drinker. That wind was brutal cold.

Wetumpka channeled their inner Alabama tonight. Didn't even try to do what they do best and beat themselves with stupid penalties at critical times.
