That's a memory to take with you forever as a 17 year old kid. I wonder the last time they played a football game in that stadium (or Ole Miss, MSU, Auburn, Georgia, LSU) in the snow? The 2000 Iron Bowl was played in a freezing rain/sleet, but it never really snowed.

By far, the most miserable game I've ever been to in my life, both for the weather and for the abortion of decent football.

Same - was literally 36 or 37 degrees the entire day. Just warm enough to keep all the liquid in pure liquid form but still frigidly cold.

And of course 9-0.

EDIT : Per Weather Underground, the High was 39 and the low was 35 with a light rain from 1:53 PM to 11:53 PM. LOL, what a miserable day.

Snow makes things more intense with football otherwise it's not that exciting. Maybe it's cause I'm a Hoosier but snow is just meh outside of football and a maybe some outdoor basketball

Sounds about like the Bama-Va Tech Music City Bowl in the 90s, that game was miserable as well

Not a SEC stadium but 2000 Independence Bow in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Even that started out awesome. Hold UCLA to a 3 and out then Freddie Milons returns the punt for a td. I thought Bama was going to cruise through the season after that. Then the rest of the game happened

South Carolina and Ole Miss went to bowl games and lost to that team. Ole Miss lost by 38. They should probably be taken out back and shot. All of them.

That was a miserable experience. I left early because the girl I was dating had ice in her hair.
