Coach didn’t make enough to make a $100,000 bet.. his salary of $475k was 2nd lowest in the SEC.
My guess is that he owed someone some serious money, and this was an attempt to square things up. Based on the stupidly of the decision, it sounds like someone who felt he had no where else to turn.
This story may end up having a tragic ending beyond the current storyline..
