re: Washington D.C. with kids

I'm taking my wife and 3 kids later on this year. I went when I was 9 and I really enjoyed it. Changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier is an incredibly vivid memory of mine. The soldiers heel click just stuck with me. Kennedy is buried right next to there from what I recall as well. So yes, all of the monuments are great but the changing of the guard and visiting Mt Vernon are highly recommended, as they were two of my most vivid memories of the trip. Hanging out in George Washington's backyard looking over the Potomac is cool no matter what age you are.
Edited to add that the metro actually connects with the Grand Hyatt so it can be a game changer from what I hear.

re: LSU men BBall 13-5( 1-4) 13 games left. Would 7 more wins get them to tournament?

these four SEC losses can be digested better by the committee if the Tigers start looking better with Dedan back in the fold
I have been encouraged by what I've seen from Rashad King as a facilitator as well

After he transfers to LSU will he have to sit the first half of the Clemson game or the whole game?
re: Anyone here ever choked / almost died?

About 5 years ago I choked on Rotolo's Pizza at my house, which had some very well done pepperonis. My wife was about 8 months pregnant and managed to do the heimlich on me with the side of her hip. The food popped out almost immediately and just as quickly our dog gobbled it up off the floor.
My wife didn't see the dog eat it and was wondering if the food dislodged because she didn't see it anywhere. I was trying to catch my breath so I could explain that the dog ate the shite as soon as it hit the floor.
When I was choking I remained pretty calm and was attempting to just breath through my nose and felt like I could very slightly, but I couldn't talk so my wife picked up on it and jumped in. She's something else.
Will never eat Rotolos again.

re: Charlie Weis Jr. interviewing with the Eagles??

I don't think this is past tense. I think they showed interest and now they are making arrangements to get him in for an interview. Weis Jr is on the NFL radar and I anticipate him taking an OC job this cycle. The contract he signed with LSU only requires substantial buyout money for other NCAA jobs. He's free to take an NFL gig.

I think the benefactor in all of this is Hunt Palmer. His show has grown on me a bit.

Good insight. I'm quite sure not a single mention of McMahon while mentioning all of the other successful coaches repeatedly.

Are you able to tell how often it goes this route?
Texas has joined LSU in having no morals
If Kiffin manages to land both of these guys it would be quite the coup

And the closer Frank Wilson… did what he DO!
Beck not accurate at all
No because they're just little ole Washington, just another victim of the big bad KIFFIN
