Correct. Per capita is misleading.

I think it's a good statistic when comparing very large states like Texas, Florida, and California. It shows us that CA's per capita is not near as high as Texas and especially Florida. The most talent is concentrated in Florida and the Southeast. CA is up there because it has 40 million people. Compare that with Tennessee, the 15th most populous state, which has 7 million people.

No they aren't and there's zero data to back it up.

is an interesting observation that Saban doesn’t think that highly of Alabama high school players. Does he think the Alabama high school coaches don’t do a good job of development or something?

6 of the top 10 players in Alabama in 2022 signed with Alabama...the rest signed with Florida, Oregon, Texas and Auburn.

In 2021 3 of the top 10 went to Alabama...the rest, LSU, UGA, FSU and Auburn.

2020 7 of the top 10 went to Bama.

2019 4 of the top 10 went to Bama.

You said the last good players and that's them. All three are top 100 national players. That translates coonass dumb shite to good players. You can also add Ricks and soon to be Boute to that as well.

I'm wondering if that has to be all-time. WY has like 500k people. No way the state of Wyoming would have more than 70 players currently in the NFL.

I'm talking current NFL rosters...not since 1936.

Good Lord.

Louisiana would be slightly higher per capita. Alabama only has 250k more residents.
